began building palapas in 2003. Soon after the first palapas
were built, orders for additional palapas poured in. Along
with these orders came requests for a variety of products.
Soon we turned to the internet to reach more customers.
Our main storefront is on the internet now, which helps
us keep out costs down so we can pass the savings on to

What We Offer
When people describe palapa products they might say palapa
umbrella, thatch umbrella, tiki hut, or grass hut. Whether
you’re looking for tiki huts or thatch umbrellas,
we have what you are looking for. Simply said, we offer
what is called a Palapa and we offer styles made of woven
palm leaf or African Reed. Our fan palm palapas are made
of authentic hand woven Mexican fan palm leaves, while our
African Reed comes directly from the manufacturing plant
in South Africa. We build our palapas using high quality
lodge pole pine or cedar. This round lumber also gives our palapas
their authentic look.
We also sell other products
and accessories for your palapa. Some of these products
are thatch, fire retardant, tiki gods, palapa tables, bamboo, bamboo
furniture, palapa stands, and hammocks. Over one mile of rope
is used on each hammock which is much more material than
the typical hammock. Palapa Structures only provides the
highest quality rope hammocks on the market. Many of our
customers like to have around palapa table mounted to the
main pole of their palapas. These round tables are great
to eat on while being protected from the sun. Our Quarrizz® tables
are made from a material that is made to holds up especially well in
intense weather exposure.
